The Role

Looking to break into the VFX world but not sure where to start? This is it.

As an MCR Assistant, you’ll be right at the centre of everything — handling media, supporting artists, and keeping projects running smoothly behind the scenes. You don’t need loads of experience, just a genuine interest in post-production and a willingness to learn.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Uploading, organising, and managing footage for projects

- Converting files into the right formats for different teams

- Checking video/audio for any issues (quality control)

- Sending files to artists, editors, and producers

- Helping prep final exports and deliveries

- Keeping everything tidy and organised

- Jumping in to help the team with day-to-day tasks

What We’re Looking For

- You’re into film, TV, editing, or VFX (even if you’re just starting out)

- You’ve got a basic understanding of video (formats, resolution, etc.) — or you’re keen to learn

- You’re organised and notice the small details

- You’re reliable and good with deadlines

- You’re a team player with a positive attitude

Bonus (not essential):

- You’ve used tools like Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve
