VFX Production Assistant / HETV & FILM

 No.8 is a leading creative studio working at the forefront of high-end television and feature film post-production. As our VFX division continues to grow, we are looking for a dedicated VFX Production Assistant to join the team to ensure the smooth running of the production department.

Key Responsibilities:

· Work closely with VFX team to execute creative and diverse projects while representing the Client’s needs and expectations with the assistance of Senior Producers

· Assisting in creating quotes, budgets and schedules for all projects and creating quotes independently for smaller projects

· Ensure all your projects are running to budget with the stipulated margin target and on time

· Building suitable teams and allocating resources on projects

· Coordinating external services on projects as necessary

· Communicating effectively with clients to manage expectations and timescales

· Taking an active role in securing new business and ensuring repeat custom by effectively managing current client relationships

About you:

· Must be able to work independently and as a part of a team

· Willingness to keep learning from the producers around you and progress in your career

· Proactive and passionate about creating high-quality work

· An understanding of the different types of CGI, Compositing and other VFX software

· Ability to build up rapport and strong relationships with clients and staff

· Attention to detail and constantly looking for ways to improve what we do

· Strong project management, negotiation and communication skills
